I have been interested in art from the age of five and would always be told off for drawing on the front of my school books! I was heavily inspired to draw computer game related art after getting a NES in 1986 from my parents as a gift when it was released in the EU. For the years that followed, and many a new console later (
), and upon reaching secondary school I decided that I wanted to have a career in games as an artist.
I did A-Level Art after my GCSE exams and then a Diploma in foundation studies art at Wimbledon College, I then went on to recieve a BA Honors in Graphic Design at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design.
Soon after leaving university in 2004 I landed my first job in games for SEGA Europe as a Tester. After two years I started leading teams of testers and left to go work at 2K Games for a further three years as a Lead Tester. After leaving 2K Games I began work for the PlayStation team at Sony London as a Development Tools Tester where I decided to teach myself 3D modelling in my spare time to become a more established artist. Eventually I was given the opportunity to work on a project as Concept/3D Artist which I still do to this day at Sony.
Now developing my skills further I hope to help other artists and also become a better artist myself by learning as much as I possibly can everyday.
To date I have been lucky enough to have worked on over 25 game titles during my time in the industry spanning nine years.
List of some games I have been credited for to date can be found here, I've worked on others but sometimes if you work on a game for only a couple of months you don't always get listed on the credits:www.mobygames.com/developer/sh…
